Auditions for our KJ ROCK program are now open!

KJ RockKJ Rock is a program that was developed specifically for our students and the needs of our community. This program centers around providing performance opportunities for students aged 12-18 years of age. It runs in South Penrith once a month.
We take guitarists, drummers, vocalists, bass and keyboard/piano players and turn them into Rock Gods! We teach them how to create and manage their brand image, market their band, work and monitor equipment, write songs, set lists and even how to manage band finances. You don't have to have a huge amount of playing experience but an understanding of the basics is a must. We usually recommend this program for students who have received tuition in their instrument for at least 12 months. So, if you have ever wanted to get on stage and play a 'face melting' solo or hear your voice travel across the stage and down to an audience of hundreds of people, then this is the program for you! I joined the KJ ROCK program because I needed to improve my performance skills in preparation for my HSC but I have learned so much more. KJ ROCK has definitely improved my confidence as a musician. Learning from professional musicians, like Kalinda and Michael, who have worked in the industry for so many years, opened my eyes up to the whole world of the music industry. There is much more to being a musician then learning an instrument and they know what it takes. They live and breathe this industry. |
"KJ ROCK is just like joining a team sport. It teaches you how to work together with other musicians. In your lesson you only learn how to play by yourself. It's a lot different when you have to play as a band. It gave me confidence and made me work harder in my individual lessons. Afterall, you don't want to let your band down, so you get in and learn so many more songs and techniques." |
